Jones County Heritage Festival

​Jones County’s Heritage Festival is a celebration of rural agricultural life in southeastern North Carolina. Local businesses and talents are showcased at this event and The Pink Slipper Dance Academy participates every year. Select performances will be showcased on Saturday, September 27th, 2025. 

Annual Recital

​For seventeen years, the Pink Slipper Dance Academy has provided students with an exciting performance experience through its year-end recital. The recital offers our students a professionally directed performance that allows them to present to their families and friends the result of a year’s hard work, dedication, and progress.  A big part of the dance training process includes learning through performance, which helps to build self-esteem and confidence.  This season, our 18th recital will be held on Saturday, May 30th, 2026 at the Kinston High School Performing Arts Center.
