Jones County Heritage Festival

​Jones County’s Heritage Festival is a celebration of rural agricultural life in southeastern North Carolina. Local businesses and talents are showcased at this event and The Pink Slipper Dance Academy participates every year. Select performances will be showcased on Saturday, November 12th. 

Annual Recital

​For fourteen years, the Pink Slipper Dance Academy has provided students with an exciting performance experience through its year-end recital. The recital offers our students a professionally directed performance that allows them to present to their families and friends the result of a year’s hard work, dedication, and progress.  A big part of the dance training process includes learning through performance, which helps to build self-esteem and confidence.  This season, our recital will be held on June 24th at the Kinston Performing Arts Center.
